The International Relations Department is in charge of the relations with international parliamentary assemblies, international institutions and foreign Parliaments. It provides assistance to the delegations of the Chamber to international Assemblies and to delegations on mission abroad and prepares documentation on the organisation and activities of international institutions.

The Department for MPs' status and allowances is responsible for the activities related to the status of Parliamentarians and the administrative support for all the activities related to their mandate. This department is headed by Mr. Mauro De Dominicis. Admission to this position was by public selective examinations over two years, in which competence was tested in 11 areas ranging from Constitutional, Parliamentary and European law to History, Bibliography and Archival Science. I was one of 30 candidates (out of 15,600) to be awarded a post.

The Daphne Project "Avicri" was aimed to prevent and combat violence against children, young people and woman, and to protect victims and groups at risk. As in charge of the secretary's office I was responsible for keeping a project diary, assisting with progress reports, producing thecnical summary reports and many other administrative tasks.

Researcher for the analisys of the data gathered for the progect Equal - SAM, "Struggle Against Mobbing". Aim of SAM was to survey and analyse inequality and discrimination in work enviroment. Moreover, the project aimed to create a local net of monitoring. It trained Operators of the drop in centres and managers of the local work units. At last it intended to publish knowledge end experiences realized with aids of all the partners. A second target of Sam was the diffusion of the experiences made by all the subjects: academic staff, institutions, public institutes, ASL, social operator, etc. Third target was the struggle against work place discrimination in the research territory. The objective was to build at least two social cooperatives, or to place at the disposition of the local territorial authorithies enough people to form a centre for monitoring the local situation. The programme involved the creation of new professional figures:operators of the drop in centres, managers of the local work units and social mediators.
