I have 8 years of experience as a researcher, both in academia and in the private sector, in Italy and abroad, in the fields of urban development, housing policies and socio-economic inequalities.My research interests range from middle-class housing policies and the youth housing crisis to urban governance and the relationship between politics and urban development.I use participatory research methods because I believe that only by working together with citizens we can develop truly effective policy solutions to address socio-economic and housing inequalities. Recently, I became interested in online education and the immense possibilities it offers for the dissemination of advanced knowledge, and I had the opportunity to work as a project manager and learning developer on a university-level MOOC.Over the last 10 years I have lived in Italy, the Netherlands and France and have attended more conferences and seminars than Christmas dinners. So I can easily find my way in international environments, collaborate with people from all sorts of backgrounds, and speak in public effectively and with enthusiasm.I read and write on a daily basis for both work and pleasure, and in my spare time I play tennis and crochet amigurumis.
