Working for one of the largest workspace providers in Europe was an incredible opportunity and a great experience. HB Reavis builds offices in cities like London, Berlin, Warsaw and Budapest. There was a heavy focus on workspace wellbeing, so it was naturally my main communication focus across various channels as their Group Content & Social Media Specialist.On a daily basis, I created copy for social media, wrote landing pages, HR ads, newsletters, blogs and press releases. All the work was done in English. Apart from coming up with engaging content, I was always there for the country PR managers if they needed any guidance. Another big part of my job was to make sure our key audiences (C-levels) actually saw the content. I worked closely with a performance specialist and made sure we were getting the most out of every written piece because content was one of our main lead generation tools.What I loved about working with HB Reavis was the cooperation with Isoline - the best B2B content agency in the world (I’m not exaggerating, they’re that good). I managed the whole project - co-created content plans, supplied feedback on articles and made sure everything was continually measured and improved. Due to these efforts, we won the Global Content Award together in 2021!One other highlight - cooperation with the BBC StoryWorks on the “In Pursuit of Wellness” campaign in 2022. We got to talk about the importance of workspace wellbeing as a company and I was even interviewed on camera as part of the documentary. (Exciting, but far out of my comfort zone, haha.) Well, another amazing and experience-filled ride. I dipped my toes in retail for the first time and even though I quickly learned how challenging and exhausting it can be, I loved it.As a marketing specialist of the newly opened Aupark mall in Hradec Kralove, I was responsible for establishing the brand in the market and, of course, getting people to visit and then stay for as long as possible via a well planned and executed marketing & comms strategy.I had all the creative freedom I could have wished for and it was amazing. My favorite project I came up with was definitely the opening of the FOX Gallery showroom in an unused space with spectacular views of Hradec and presenting high quality handcraft and big names of Czech design in a temple of consumerism, which I feel was pretty daring.Apart from the creative freedom, I had to do the hard work too - managing day to day operations, social media, engaging with communities, communicating with retailers, supporting the property manager in meetings, planning and executing all the events, budgeting and reporting.One day, I overheard someone on the street saying Aupark has the best communication around. What a great affirmation of our hard work! Over the course of my time there we experienced footfall growth, which was another indicator of our success.

This was an interesting transfer. After being forced to do almost solely performance marketing in Comgate, I really missed being creative, playing with words and generally having fun with marketing again. (Not that lead ads are not fun, but you get the idea.)Zaraguza had been on my radar for a while as one of the most prestigious agencies out there. So, as soon as I saw their ad on Facebook, I reached out and was soon a part of their team. I had no idea what I had signed myself up for. I had to commute every day from Hradec Kralove to Prague, start office work at 8 AM, and leave for Hradec at 5 PM only to do it all over the next day.Even though it was hands down the most challenging job I’ve had given all those circumstances, I was excited to find out how the ads you see on TV and YouTube for huge brands are produced from up close!I accounted for Unilever and Česká spořitelna and will remember some of the briefs / meetings forever. It’s a big, big game!

I was 27 when the CEO of Comgate appointed me as a Marketing Director of the company after pulling off an HR campaign for them as a freelancer that brought in hundreds of new leads to their call center.It was a heck of an opportunity but, looking back, I was definitely a little naïve thinking I could change the world with creative and authentic marketing and communication alone. It was a rude awakening to see that to cut the mustard in the big business world, my best friends (or worst enemies, right?) would have to be KPIs, CTRs, CPLs, ROIs, etc. It was at Comgate where I first started flirting with lead generation ads and even got some decent results given how limited the available tools were at the time. (I definitely didn’t know about HubSpot back then!)

Freelancing for the brand.

My first time working for a startup, with all of the headaches that come with it. Extra drive, tight deadlines, an all-nighter now and then, huge ups and sometimes even bigger downs, but overall tons of unforgettable memories and friends for life made.

Once I made it and WIFI became an established and respected educational agency, I received a promotion to Regional manager. I was in close contact with our Austrian management and got even more chances to practice my German on daily calls.

At just 25 years old, I was assigned the task of establishing a branch of an Austrian educational agency - WIFI - on the Czech market. It was a franchise so you can imagine all the rules and processes I had to follow and assist in implementing.A majority of the work was done in German and I loved my occasional trips to the headquarters in Vienna.

My first job as a student of the University of Hradec Kralove. I was excited to land a role in a PR agency because I’ve always known what I wanted to do, write. I learned the basics here: how to write press releases, blog posts, how to handle social media (it was a pretty new thing back then!), and all about comms campaigns (I even worked on some political ones which are essentially master courses in PR).This will forever be the place where I learned my craft.
