Life Out Loud — Mental Health Consulting & Creatives — a business that incorporates creative platforms for training, and education to promote mental health in the workplace and in life in general.

Responsible for the development and delivery of the Essential Skills and Personal Development curriculum for various employability programs within the organization. Meet with and counsel students on a regular basis concerning individual needs that might affect personal and educational progress, and provide feedback on performance. Encourage and help empower students to support them in all areas of development. Attend Case Consultation meetings, provide information on the progress of students, and prepare reports. Serve as a liaison between potential employers within industry and Futureworx. Consult and collaborate effectively with Case Managers, Case Workers and other community resources regarding students with identified concerns and needs.

Responsible for developing, facilitating and coordinating workshops related to employment readiness to meet the needs of clients. Developed and maintained partnerships with community groups, employers, other service providers, and educational institutions. Assisted clients in preparing a quality resume and/or cover letter, and supported clients in job applications.

Case managed clients enrolled in the program. Developed life skills and job maintenance groups to ensure clients enhanced their social skills necessary for the work place. Consulted with other government and community organizations in support of the client.

Provided individual counselling to ensure clients were able to proceed at their own pace and address their personal goals. Facilitated Life Skills workshops and daily classes based on personal and social development.
