As the CycleUp Textiles Progression and Skills Innovation Coordinator, I engage in women’s community development work to facilitate and support the development, capacity building and training of women into flexible paid employment opportunities in the Circular Economy. This work particularly focuses on supporting individuals in gaining hands on work experience in the CycleUp Textiles production studio facilitating progression into secure employment as product creators and/or into self-employment. I am a motivated coordinator who has led the collaborative efforts of dedicated volunteers and social enterprise employees to create remarkable upcycled textile items for sale. I excel in coordinating training/workshops and recruiting trainees and furthering their development. Comfortable at overseeing various aspects of operations including volunteer management, financial review, event planning, and collaboration on special projects. As a media content Producer/Director and researcher, I have conceptualised, researched, directed and edited content for online, video and radio productions. Motivated Project Manager with solid experience managing large scale projects, including budgeting and administration. Talented at formulating and presenting a creative response to a client's requirements, researching and investigating all avenues for a narrative, delegating to effectively use the talents of production crew, editors, graphic designers, cast, contributors and voice-over artists.
