As I was watching said commercials in my youth, contemplating what I should be when I grew up, I quickly landed on marketing, thinking I could exercise my creativity while using my impeccable organizational and communication skills. Fast-forward a few years (because some things should be skipped through, just not commercials) and I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration focused in Marketing and International Business from Simon Fraser University. I've since realized marketing it isn't just about making commercials, much to my younger self’s surprise, as it is about building and nurturing relationships, strict time and budget management, creating efficiencies, constant communication, and so much more that I am lucky to do as an experienced marketing professional.
