I am driven by two factors: Curiosity and Growth. Curiosity allowed this Brooklyn-born girl to leave the house at 13 and journey to an elite boarding school in New Hampshire. By 15, I lived in Spain for a year. Growth propelled me into my professional career, where- after graduating from UPenn in the midst of an economic recession- my superior work ethic and keen mind carved a new position inside a national education access organization for the southeast region. I have enjoyed many successful years in the education sector, guiding and supporting future go-getters and growers (read: LEADERS!). I am known for:· Placing more than 400 students from the Southeast US into competitive secondary schools nationwide within a 5-year span, making it the largest region of the organization· Guiding and advocating for exceptional students seeking admissions and scholarships to over 300 of the nation’s selective schools· Creating and facilitating workshops for important admissions-related milestones, such as interview prep, crafting a personal essays, and how understanding the impact of standardized testing I am a highly effective communicator that delivers need-to-know information with a little bit of humor and lots of ‘realness.’ My skill is helping students and parents feel empowered and capable, particularly in the stress inducing ‘game’ of the College/ Private School Admissions!I’m still curious and I’m still growing. And I’m looking to lift up as I climb.
