It is centred around a month of activities each November, including Equal Pay Day, the day on which women in Ireland effectively stop earning, relative to men, because of our gender pay gap of just over 14%. I developed the concept for and have managed the WorkEqual campaign since its establishment in 2016. The campaign has led to the established of the Oireachtas All-Party Group on Workplace Gender Equality, for which Alice provides the secretariat.
