International affairs professional committed to protecting the ocean and its wonderful inhabitants.I recently graduated from the George Washington University with a MA in International Affairs where my concentrations were Global Gender Policy and the Middle East. At my time at GW, I have expanded on my knowledge of gender theory, and my research and analysis have mainly focused on the intersection of the identities of vulnerable populations in the MENA region, with an emphasis on LGBTQ individuals. Some of my recent works are The Particular Uniqueness of LGBTQ Palestinian Refugees and The Role of Women in Peace Efforts in Israel and Palestine. A firm believer that the promotion of women and LGBTQ rights should be a fundamental pillar of any nation. I was born in Milan, Italy from an Italian father and an American mother. My international background is integral to all aspects of my professional and personal life.I am an avid reader, I especially enjoy historical fiction and magical realism. I love foreign films and discovering new art pieces.
