Community Alignment Manager
CurrentInstrumentally involved in coordinating efforts among our community partners (city, state, and local agencies) to develop lasting partnerships, improve access to resources, and identify gaps that families are experiencing. I achieve these goals by managing community relationships within the Travis County Family Connects program as well as facilitating the Central Texas Perinatal Coalition. Part of my role with Family Connects is to seek out relationships with new community organizations that are working to provide individuals with resources to basic needs, health, mental health, and education. In addition, I have co-facilitated Parent Leadership and Advisory Council’s for specific program feedback, leadership training, and caregiver voice to advance the Success by Six strategic plan. As a founding member of our DEI committee, I have assisted in leading affinity conversations, contributed to creating more equitable organizational practices, and continued to voice the concerns and needs or our organization.
