My passion is political analysis and public relations, my purpose is strategy, programme and project design. I deeply enjoy creative collaboration with people as diverse as possible - because that provides the best results. Thanks to my multifacetted professional life so far, I have gained expertise in various sectors, including international politics at the UN, working on military and social security issues, business and ethics, and human rights; identity-building/ branding/public relations; public health care, and logistics. Most of all, I have realized the relevance of education and information for the development of our societies - with businesses as key drivers. "Civis Europaeus Sum"flags my commitment to Europe's multicultural setting, values related to human dignity, civic rights - and civic duties. There is nothing more rewarding to me than a mentee turning into a shining jewel on stage or elsewhere in his or her life. Unforgettable to me are the presentations of my graduate students at United Nations University to the diplomatic community in Tokyo. As much as I like making others shine, however, give me the right cause, and I turn into a Jeanne d'Arc. Such causes usually refer to peacebuilding and sustainable development; global governance; human rights and human security; internet governance and digitization; intergenerational collaboration; women and girls (not only) in tech. I am deeply convinced of the need for systematically including women in true and strategic leadership positions - and giving them a fair chance to succeed - not just to meet the statistics.
