Econometric support for long-range integrated resource planning process.SAMPLE: Conceptualized and constructed a network model in SAS/OR for capacity planning of very long-range demand forecasts and system capacity constraints. Conceived and developed a genetic algorithm to optimize decisions for local distribution network construction project choices. Results: Evaluated 40 construction projects and capacity purchases over a 30 year planning horizon.

Constructed, simulated and built acceptance for the implementation of new business rules in the management of product inventory across 2,000 stores. The project name was M2P2 (merchandising management product placement) and I was consulting with Information Technology and Hollywood Entertainments external retail business practice consultants.SAMPLE: Conceptualized and quantified the value of a store-product forecast model of store specific unit rental demand. Using computer simulations created in MS/Access and quantified the costs and benefits of alternative forecasting models.Results: A forecasting model was adopted which identified a $4 million (10%) reduction in store inventory levels, with no impact to rental demand.

Influenced executive management in the analysis of customer supply chains requests for proposals. Developed network models for risk metrics in the evaluation of customer pricing policy and operational impact of alternatives. Presented results to executive management team.SAMPLE: Developed sales portfolio metrics for profitability and proactive customer relationship management in Base SAS. Identified new mechanisms for proactive metric tracking and reporting. Lead the automation of regular sales portfolio reporting of customer profitability for proactive customer analysis by sales and operations management. Results: Within 6 months, one major location’s profitability improved from a $5,000 loss per month to a $25,000 gain per month while developing the reports.
