My role is a 2LOD role within the 3LOD framework as Director of Enterprise Risk in SANNE. I am responsible for leading the risk assessment and Policy Framework. This includes providing overall leadership, vision and direction for the Enterprise Risk Function defining the roles and responsibilities, key risk indicators and development within the teamI am also responsible for policy development and implementation across the global SANNE group. I develop and maintain the risk taxonomy for material risks, associated risk appetite, inherent and residual risk position and necessary action or return to green plans.I have developed and Implemented the risk assessment methodology process globally along with creating and reviewing the jurisdictional position alongside the senior executive views.I act as business owner to the risk operating system which covers development and utilisation across the group globally.I also support the design and delivery of the strategic direction of the risk and compliance function and support the drive of a proactive risk culture across the group globally.

The team is also the Data Quality Policy owners for the division of c30,000 staff. I am responsible for c550 FTE globally.• I am responsible for creating and Implementing a global operating model for Control testing delivering teams across EMEA, APAC, India and UK. The operating model is a mix of onshore regional teams, in country teams and offshore (India and Poland) remote testing teams.• I am responsible for owning the User Access system (Sailpoint IIQ) and delivering the controls and monitoring strategy along with bringing together the teams under a Shared Service operating model for the bank.• I have a professional approach to managing the risks globally and ensuring risk and control assessments are carried out regularly as well as significant Senior Exec stakeholder management • I am functionally responsible for a worldwide team of c300 FTE. Operationally managed by the various regions• The functional team has been built over the last 3 years to c50FTE and across 11 locations in the UK and India with a budget of c£3m. I have overseen the recruitment, people development and talent management alongside creating and delivery of the operating models associated with the 3 products across the bank.
