At GEISTT I have worked in several projects concerning optimized human system effectiveness on several organizational levels (from applied recommendations for system or training design to strategic recommendations on a corporate/agency management level) in different domains (aviation, automotive, energy). Example customers include Scania, Swedish Radiation Safety Agency (SSM), Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV), Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), Swedavia, the Swedish ANSP provider LFV, Dubai Air National Services (DANS), Getinge & US Office of Naval Research-Global (ONR-G), & CSMART.

The purpose of The Swedish Society of Parliamentarians & Scientists, Rifo (Sällskapet för riksdagsmän och forskare) is to inform Members of Parliament on future issues of importance emanating from science, and get scientists to better understand how political decision-making may affect their activities as well as pondering the eventual social outcomes from their research.

Swedish National Representative at NATO STO Human Factors and Medicine Panel (formerly NATO RTO). The panel coordinates Human factors related R&D projects within NATO. NATO STO is the world's largest network of researchers working with defence related topics and consists of ~6000 active researchers.

HFM-202 was a NATO RTO symposium concerning Human Modeling for Military Application. NATO STO HFM Research Task Group on Human Behavior Representation in Constructive Simulation (HFM-128) and the follow-on Specialist Meeting HFM-143.The group received the NATO RTO Scientific Achievement Award in 2008. The group was one of four receiving the award among approx. 100 groups, across all RTO panels. Swedish Governmental Expert in Human Factors (CGE in the ESM04 group). EDA coordinates capability development and R&D across the member nations of the European Union. In the group, European research ideas are promoted and projects formed. I initiated the SOCUMOD project (Social and Cultural Modeling) and have also been active in the preparation of ESM04s strategic research agenda.

The IMTR project was an extensive research collaboration agreement between the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) in Sweden and the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) in the US. IMTR represents a comprehensive approach to how training effectiveness can be maximized and how simulators should be designed and used. Several IMTR events and activities, e.g., Red Flag Spin-ups, i.e. pre-exercise/deployment rehearsal in the simulator, demo of distributed simulation at I/ITSEC, analyses of Mission Essential Competencies (MEC) etc have received attention both in operative and scientific communities.

Research and project management focused on human performance measurement, use and design of simulator environments, system development, computer generated forces, information operations, advanced statistics, and training. I was directly managing (and participating in) R&D projects with a total budget of 55 million Swedish crowns up until 2013.

Chairman of a GARTEUR Action group in Mental Workload Measurement. The group produced a handbook for mental workload measurement. Final report available at http://garteur.org/wp-content/reports/FM/FM_AG-13_TP_145.pdfGARTEUR is the Group for Aeronautical Research and Technology in Europe.

Research on human-centered automation and human performance measurement.

Project employment during summer periods at Swedish Institute of Computer Science in the HUMLE Lab (Human Computer Interaction and Language Engineering). Both 1995 and 1996. In 1995 the focus was "moving the usability lab to the web" and 1996 it was MUDs (Multi User Domains, now MMORPG).
