Martin’s got 20 years in the ad game. He’s seen it all and worked with some of the best. Today he’s a veteran of everything advertising - printing, graphic design, creative communication, and broadcast. Take Don Draper, bring him to Vegas and run him through a tattoo parlor two or three times – that’s Martin Lapid. At the age of 18, he got his first gig at Trend Offset Printing, one of the largest printing operations in So Cal. From there he learned the ins and outs of getting ads onto paper - traditional prepress, plate making, and he even dabbled in film stripping and camera operating. He helped create the electronic prepress department and was eventually promoted to supervisor level. From there it was off to Penthouse-owned TM Publishing where he worked as the lead graphic artists designing and laying out several magazine titles. Were some of those magazines nude? Probably. He won’t admit to anything to us, but you don’t hone photoshop skills like his laying out AARP. Armed with a black belt in photoshop and printing, Martin landed a job at Graphics West, the second largest printer in Las Vegas and later DRGM Advertising. He made a big name for himself working with other big names – Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo, Circus Circus, Agua Caliente, Summerlin and Del Webb. During this time he also built a solid portfolio of freelance clients. It was so solid, after 6 years at DRGM he decided to ditch the 9 to 5 and go into business for himself. On a hot night in 2006, Pixel Pusher Media, LLC was born. Today, it’s become a one-stop shop for all your advertising needs. Clients include MGM Grand, Game Tech International, Ameristar Casinos, HOME Nightclub, Carrot Top, Jerry Metellus Photography, Incorp, Brydan Solutions and LL Bradford & Co.
