What exactly is it that you do?An all too common question for PMO teams around the world.It's understandable, in some organisations just whispering the term PMO will see sirens blaring as the process police arrive to slam stage gates shut before you have even started. Often seen in dark rooms where the only light comes from the glare of a fresh new spreadsheet.Thankfully that's not the norm, that's not me and will never be the type of PMO I build.Over the last 7 years I have been helping organisations across a variety of sectors and industries deliver real business outcomes. I have always believed that a strong PMO is built on:- Transparency, enabling clarity on finances, risks, issues, resourcing etc- Efficiency Focused, driven to improve operational processes- Adaptability, able to change to meet the needs of stakeholders
