As part of London Youth's senior team, I am accountable for the strategic direction and operations at Hindleap Warren and Woodrow High House; London Youth's two residential centres situated just outside of London. I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead. I also manage the charity's Head of Health, Safety and Environment.Both centres do a brilliant job of building confidence, resilience and relationships skills for around 18,000 children and young people each year. The centres have a combined turnover of over £3m and a team of around 80 dedicated individuals.The centres are used by our member youth organisations as well as schools (mainstream and SEND-specific) and a wide range of other youth organisations.In this role I have led on the delivery of major capital improvements to our sites (refurbishment, re-configuration, M&E, biomass, swimming pool and plant overhaul) and the re-tender of our catering contract. I have undertaken a strategic review of the role of the centres for the organisation to ensure they remain financially sustainable as well as purposeful for London Youth's members.

I led the team at Woodrow High House - a youth residential centre, owned by London Youth, situated in a beautiful 17th century manor house near Amersham in the Chilterns. The centre is home throughout the year to residential groups from schools and youth groups, among others, and offers a place for quiet or noisy retreat. We deliver experiences to develop confidence, resilience and relationships and evaluate our impact to show that this us the case.The residential centre and leisure centre together help around 9,000 children and young people each year.

Leading a team of staff and volunteers delivering various projects focused on access to free legal advice and guidance for the general public, community groups and particularly disadvantaged groups of individuals. The team also provided access to training for lawyers volunteering on a pro bono basis and supported students and law schools in establishing and sustaining pro bono projects.

Associate in the commercial litigation team, representing clients from a range of industries, including IT, telecoms, banking, insurance, construction, retail, ombudsman schemes, manufacturing and engineering.I worked on cases that went to final hearings in the High Court and through international arbitration. I also worked on out-of-court settlements, including those brought about by way of mediation.
