During my internship I improved the server room monitoring system, wrote guides for costumer support and performed general technical costumer support.The service on the server room monitoring system included programming of logic for alarm cases where room temperature exceeded a given limit. A user interface was also implemented, so that alarm history, trending curves and GSM connection strength could be accessed from a computer browser. I was also required to research FTP and SQL logging. In addition, I was asked to gather knowledge on setting up VPN connections with equipment from Phoenix Contact (mGuard). The research resulted in 3 written guides and a successful presentation for a costumer.
