Martin is a project manager and senior business analyst for Varrlyn consulting which he co-founded in 2010. He has a Master in Physics and Astronomy of Utrecht University and finished an MBA at the University of Florida.Martin has worked mainly in the financial markets sector; he has been involved in various trading system implementations for different asset classes. He worked in the role of senior business analyst on a global front to back Murex implementation based in London dealing with Interest Rate Derivatives. After the go-live he provided first line front office support for the traders in London and Sydney. After this he has successfully delivered more than ten projects for different banks and asset managers at various locations. He for example delivered the data migration for an extensive set of product types for the implementation of a new accounting ledger (Advent-Geneva) at a large asset manager. Martin also has worked as a team lead of a large HR outsourcing project for an international bank. Further he has been involved in a number of regulatory, integration and change projects.Recently he worked as a migration manager for the new iDEAL payments platform. Currently he works at a large asset manager; implementing a new order and execution management system.
