Services include comprehensive initial due diligence and recurring examinations, floor plan checks, asset inspections, business interviews of new and troubled relationships and other activities related to the development and execution of loan workout strategies.

As a revenue agent for the Small Business/Self Employed division I reviewed taxpayer books and records to evaluate internal controls and compliance with tax law of Schedule C, C Corp, S Corp and Partnership entities with assets equal to or less than $10,000,000. The audit work was stimulating (however the massive amount of bureaucratic paperwork was not) and the audit methodologies I learned are highly beneficial to the type of work I enjoy doing.

At FinanSource, LC I provided small and medium sized businesses with business consulting and working capital financing alternatives within the Asset Based Lending Industry. What I enjoyed most was the opportunity to work with entrepreneurs who were trying to grow their businesses yet didn't have the resources to develop cash flow projections and to present the value they had in their assets.

In the loan workout department I evaluated the credit worthiness of troubled credit relationships to develop strategies to either rehabilitate or exit credit relationships. As would be expected, the development of financial projections and the review of collateral values were integral to the work I did.

As the Regional Manager for the St. Louis and Kansas City markets I had responsibility for loan production and account relationship services to entrepreneurial businesses with working capital requirements of less than $1,000,000. Consulting with entrepreneurs to fund growth in their business was the most gratifying experience. Over the two year period that I was there I tripled the loan portfolio from five account relationships to over 15 account relationships.

As the audit manager I was responsible for training and supervising a staff of examiners to conduct comprehensive commercial finance examinations of prospective and existing clients. The commercial finance examinations required analytical review and substantive testing of client books and records to evaluate financial statement performance, accounting internal controls and to determine the quality of assets supporting working capital lines of credit.
