Providing vision for the organization, as well as overseeing the organization’s strategic direction. Promoting the advocacy efforts of Bruin Consent Coalition (BCC) and spread sexual assault awareness throughout the campus. Guide members and facilitate projects to ensure effective events and proposals.

Review policies affecting sexual assault survivors to present them to UCLA administration and government officials to amend these policies to effectively protect sexual assault survivors. Create events on campus that spread awareness on sexual violence and deconstruct the ideology of “rape culture.”

Analyze and dissect the Title IX policy in an effort to better accommodate all identities and bodies on campus to create a safe and inclusive environment. Build a close rapport with committee members, administrators, and campus resources and organizations to address the needs of every member on campus.

Assist the Residential Housing Manager with administrative tasks such as occupancy verification, the room selection process, and the front desk schedule. Also assist 11,000 students by evacuating residents in emergency situations and answering questions both in-person & by phone, and maintain accurate logs for resident lockouts, equipment check-out from faculty workers, and front desk shifts.

Manage and plan events by completing an event planning guide to ensure the location, mission statement, and finances of the event. Communicate with other UC entities, such as mother organizations and administration officials, about specific campaigns led by student leaders and see what resources were needed to execute the projects – which included but were not limited to sustainability, LGBTQ rights, and women’s reproductive rights.

Research and analyze local and state policies affecting LGBTQ students at UCLA to create student panels, campus awareness, and present to administration to amend the policies. Attend UC Board of Regent meetings to address policies that are directly affecting marginalized communities and propose/advocate for resolutions to these issues.

Support the mother organization, Queer Alliance, in serving a space for all LGBTQ identifying individuals and allies. Attend weekly meetings and construct and carry out general meetings where invitations will be sent to members within the Queer Alliance organization. Aid in LGBTQ events on campus such as Pride Week and Pride Admit Weekend in terms of logistics as well as hosting activities with a group of ten or more individuals.
