Henderson Foodservice sells and distributes over 6500 products across the Irish foodservice industry. We have a team over 300 people that are highly passionate about all things food. My role within the business focuses solely on meat and poultry. We work hard to source the best beef, lamb, pork and poultry that the Island of the Ireland has to offer, as well as many other specialist meat and poultry lines from across the globe. Our goal is to ensure that our customers are as happy and excited to use these products as we are.

My role at Aryzta has primarily involved prospecting for new business and developing existing accounts in hotels; independent food service; and contract catering accounts.I am currently working with the Head of Product Development to provide feedback on the development of NI specific products to ensure we remain proactively competitive in light of an increase in customer preference for local produce, particularly aligning with the 2016 NI year of Food and Drink.This role has provided me with invaluable experience of working for a multinational company; allowing me to gain exposure to working in a company with a variety of competing business requirements and working with colleagues across different jurisdictions and market areas.

NSR Food Service is an SME based in Belfast. Our mission is to provide quality cost effective frozen, chilled and ambient food products to customers who take pride in their offerings. We are agents for companies Ferraro, Mauds Ice Cream, Moma Foods, Berly's, Popcake and Crepes de France.My responsibilities as a Business Development Executive for NSR Food Service include opening and developing new accounts within the HORECA sector. My key achievements have been opening key accounts with the largest hotel operator in ROI, the largest retail chain in NI and the one of the largest supermarket chains in ROI. I have also helped to develop our food offerings and new food service brochure for the coming year.

As manager of Thyme Deli my day to day role involved account management, sales, social media marketing and daily coordination with numerous suppliers, throughout the time ensuring quality food is delivered to every customer. Whilst performing this role I learned importance of both direct supervision, and delegation to team members. I also understood the value of ensuring continued staff development and training needs are met.
