I was responsible for the organisation achieving our mission: a vibrant, rewarding, and inclusive community for supporters of effective altruism in Norway. I managed the organisation's internal and external communication, including social media, newsletter and in-person communication, supported members and local groups strategically and operationally, and organised events ranging from small group events for around 10-15 people, to a national conference for 100 people and an international conference for 500 people. While I worked at Effective Altruism Norway, the organisation grew from having 5 to 8 local groups and went from having just under 300 to close to 400 members.

Summer internship at Effective Altruism Norway, where I was responsible for their social media platforms and led a project with the student organization Effective Altruism University of Oslo to help them recruit more members. During the summer I worked with the board of Effective Altruism University of Oslo to help them decide how they wanted to create value for their members and for the world, and who their target audience should be. We used this to design activities the group could undertake to appeal to this target group and achieve the value they wanted, as well as plan how to reach the relevant potential members. After struggling with low attendance and engagement for several years, together we managed to recruit and retain 15 new active members, leading to them being a thriving organization today.

Summer internship with the non-profit organisation Faunalytics, who conduct original research and make accessible already existing research findings that help animal advocates maximise their effectiveness to reduce animal suffering. I contributed by writing summaries of research papers about cultivated meat and animal food labelling, and a blogpost about cleaner fish welfare.

Part-time job and summer job as writer for the educational website UngEnergi.no, directed by the research centre NTRANS at NTNU. Responsibilities included writing and editing articles, video scripts and school resources about renewable energy and sustainability aimed at teenagers, as well as reading research papers, holding meetings with researchers, doing tabling and giving talks.
