While continuing my role as a product designer, additional responsibilities as a project manager have been incorporated into my position. As project manager, I author PRDs and project briefs that outline goals, constraints, and requirements. I collaborate with cross functional teams to determine where new features will be integrated within the product, mapping out their total surface area and fleshing out their UX with mockups. Partnering with the engineering lead, I discuss and plan necessary architectural changes to support these new features. I conduct customer discovery conversations to understand pain points and de-risk proposed solutions through research. Additionally, I equip sales and marketing teams with crucial information about the new capabilities being developed. I measure the post-launch adoption and performance of new features to assess their impact and success. Lastly, I promote the initiative internally to build excitement and garner support across the organization.
