Primary duties include:Reviewing Consumer Credit Card applications that have been reported as fraud by the card holder for information that may confirm or deny true fraud status of the account - Complex decisions are made based on analytical research, established policies andprocedures, by analyzing account information using several reporting tools and using sound judgment. - Sr. Fraud Applications Analysts, interact with multiple business partners, businesses, and banking institutions to appropriately investigate and decision claim. - This is a non-customer facing role where the analyst takes full account to approve and pay the claim, or deny and/or request more information from the claimant. I only spent 3 months learning this role before I relocated with my family however in that time, I became a SME for my fellow associates in the same role. I am currently open to new opportunities in Springfield/Eugene or Remote.
Sr. Claims Analyst (Escalations Administrator)
Escalations Administrator is considered a supervisory role. Training new internal and external phone associates on the small business claims filing process ensuring they understand, implement, and comply with company processes, policies, and procedures as they assist clients with disputing transactions on their account. Responsible for assisting the front office phone teams with claim initiation process andprocedures. Considered a subject matter expert in all claims types. Complex decisions are made based on analytical research, established policies andprocedures, and judgment. Have extensive experience and follow established procedures and guidelines whileutilizing multiple systems and tools. Handle escalated customer situations that were unable to be resolved by the initial claimsanalyst. Provides coaching and training to other associates. Ensures compliance with Federal and Bank Regulations. Excellent communication and follow up skills. Interacts with multiple business partners to appropriately investigate and decision claim. Customer communication includes claim education, setting appropriate expectations orskillfully denying the claim.
Claims Analyst Ii
Primary Duties Included:• Accurately filing both fraud and non-fraud claims for Small Business and Large Corporate cardholders by actively listening to the issue at hand, asking probing questions and filing the correctclaim/dispute type based on Regulation Z, dispute timeframes, and the information provided at thetime of the call.• Use strong analytical skills to research payment and merchant history to thwart claims whenpossible.• Provide status of existing claims for both fraud and non-fraud customers using systems such asBlast, TSYS, Image, and Synergy.• Demonstrate Excellent Customer Service by providing fast and accurate information at the timeof the call and ensuring any transfers are made correctly at the time of the initial call.• De-Escalate tense situations to minimize complaints to managers and supervisors by providingaccurate information even when delivering claim denial information, speaking with clarity andconfidence, demonstrating empathy and care.• Assisting fellow associates with questions regarding possible claim issues and providingfeedback when requested.• Adhere to established service level agreements, AHT, Schedule adherence, and ready to serverequirements.
