Established relationship with Michigan Department of Corrections Vocational Village to hire CDL-A driver trainees and mechanics trainees. Worked with leadership to donate a tractor trailer for heavy diesel mechanic and truck driver inspection training at the MDOC Jackson facility. Established Work Opportunity Tax Credit process to secure up to $9,600 per hire from MDOC programs for the company. This includes the potential to capture additional credits for other qualified hires. Sourced timekeeping system to integrate with ERP reducing time to process office and shop payroll by 75%. Added online healthcare network free to all employees and dependents encompassing primary care, chronic care, 2nd opinion service, plan navigation and EAP/mental health care.
