    Aluminium Rheinfelden is a highly specialized midsize company (250 FTE, 250M€ turnover) with 3 business units, producing premium aluminium alloys for the automotive industry (35kt), aluminium slugs for the aerosol can market (28kt) and carbon paste to produce special anodes (50kt)After the insolvency in 2020 and acquisition of the assets by RUSAL in 04/2021, I was charged to restart the operations, lead the company and managed the integration from a former typical stand-alone midsize German company in a global organization such as RUSAL. During the turnaround, we overcame several crises such as corona, energy prices and now the implication of the war in Ukraine. In first half 2024, we achieved a positive EBT. We are actively involved in changing the ownership structure in Q3/24 in order to overcome Russian nexus and secure the future of the company.
