The Science Research Mentor Program places high-achieving high school Juniors and Seniors with research mentors at the American Museum of Natural History. As a mentor, I guide a group of student through the basics of computational genomics research all the way up to professional-level skills.

My research combines statistical and computational methods with molecular genomics data to examine how genomes change over all time scales, from a single generation to all that has happened since the beginning of life on the planet. I specialize in developing computational pipelines for high-throughput analysis of long- and short-read next-generation.
