I am a first generation student, science nerd, and lover of the great outdoors. I graduated from Michigan State University in May 2022 with a B.S in Genomics and Molecular Genetics and a minor in Bioethics. I am now a PhD student in the Cancer Biology Program at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. I aspire to conduct cancer research and travel the world when I'm not at the bench. Additionally, I am passionate about helping marginalized communities both inside and outside of the laboratory. One of my biggest goals in life is to create positive change however I can. I think the best way to do this is by advocating for and helping those who are not as privileged as I am.
