With over 23 years of teaching and leadership experience in career and technology education (CTE), I am passionate about providing students with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed in the 21st century. As the CTE Director at Castleberry ISD, I oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive and innovative CTE program that aligns with the district's vision and goals, and meets the needs and interests of diverse learners.I collaborate with teachers, administrators, and community partners to design and deliver engaging and relevant curriculum, instruction, and assessments that integrate technology, industry standards, and college and career readiness. I also facilitate and support the professional development and growth of CTE educators, using data-driven and evidence-based strategies to enhance their pedagogy and practice. Additionally, I hold multiple credentials and certifications, including ESL, Reading, and Google Certified Educator Level 1, that reflect my commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
