I'm an entrepreneur and business executive who drives faster growth by raising a company's marketing, strategic, business development and ops effectiveness. I have consistently stayed at the forefront of the latest digital marketing and analytical innovations, from SEM/SEO to social media to targeted mobile to video and offline, and enjoy working with folks of all types to push thinking, foster teamwork, and find creative new solutions. I work with small growing companies as well as larger companies to break through issues to higher growth and profitability.After several early years in management consulting, my main entrepreneurial success was co-founding and running an early internet lead gen company, which we grew quickly to become a leading high-quality national lead service for insurance agents/agencies. It achieved a #80 ranking on the 2006 Inc. 500 and won the top spot in Deloitte's 2006 Georgia Technology Fast 50 Awards (and managed to stay at #4 in 2007) with high margins. It became part of Bankrate Insurance in 2010. I also took a lead role in exposing the growing paid search click fraud problem with BusinessWeek in their 10/2/06 cover story investigation and wrote a follow-on opinion piece proposing solutions. Following that I consulted for the C-level in leading online education companies late 2012-mid 2014, then helped launch and ran Farrago Comics, the first and only freemium platform for comic books and graphic novels. I became COO of GridQuire Labs focused on mobile ad targeting, was EIR at the Comcast Farm incubator in 2018-19, and during covid Chief Development Officer at agency Response Media. Founder & CeoAero, All Electric Racing Organization May 2022 - PresentI created AERO in late 2019 as an organizing entity to attract the global Formula-E World Championship Race Series to downtown Atlanta. FE (if you didn't know) is an all-electric F1-like series run in leading cities throughout the world, with no fumes, less noise, and even more action and fan engagement features than F1 -- which is why it's been the fastest growing thing in motorsports over its first 8 seasons. Season 9 now introduces the amazing Gen3 car that's almost as fast as F1 and heightens racing action further. Efforts and strong enthusiasm from Atlanta govt/civic leaders to early 2020 had to be shelved due to the pandemic, but I began investigating and raising interest again part-time in mid-2022. Now in 2023 have gained serious traction with the vision of a huge 3-4 day downtown festival of EV tech, sustainability, education, esports, and Formula E Championship racing excitement! The economic impact on downtown and state will be on par with any of the biggest events (sports & otherwise) Atlanta hosts.
