    I initiated the CEO in crisis service for ACEVO in 2002 and have since then supported very many hundred CEOs who have a well founded fear that their continued employment is at risk. Members who believe they may be entitled to use the crisis coaching service contact ACEVO in the first instance and are then referred. As it is impossible to predict at the outset what path things will take, our commitment to ACEVO is that we support the member ‘until the end of the chapter’. I meet in person, speak on the phone, support CEOs as a 'professional friend' in hearings and offer comment on mails and letters. I make it clear that I am not lawyers but nevertheless can give general advice. We have an excellent working relationship with lawyers Bircham Dyson Bell who have an arrangement with ACEVO to offer legal advice as a member benefit.
