I have been an agent with New York Life for 26 years, and I am member of the Nautilus Group, an exclusive advanced planning resource for estate conservation and business continuation strategies. In addition I am a member of the National Association of Life Underwriters.Prior to entering the financial services industry, I was President and CEO of a family transportation business which I operated for 15 years. I served 5 years active duty in the US Army, attaining the rank of Captain and was awarded the Bronze Star for service in the Republic of Viet Nam. I graduated from North Carolina State University and have pursued graduate studies at both Duke University and South Eastern Theological Seminary . I have also completed the extensive studies necessary to earn the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.I have been married to my wife Karin for 46 years and we have three children, Martin, Alexander and Anna.
