Independently undertook research into the private sector investment climate in Zimbabwe as well as the potential trade opportunities for Danish business in various economic sectors. The research included interviews with members of government and business organizations currently operating in Zimbabwe as well as the review of existing reports. The final result of the research was a comprehensive report titled “Zimbabwe Private Sector Overview” which is to be used by the Danish Embassy office in Harare.

Other duties included callouts and troubleshooting over the telephone at the Solution Centre, an apple authorized reseller and service provider. While working I was behind the improvement of multiple systems including the incoming and outgoing parts storage as well as the check in administration process, saving both the customer and the company valuable time and resources.

As an intern in the MEDLOG Harare office I worked on rotation in multiple departments gaining insight and practical experience into how each department functioned to achieve the companies goals and objectives. The departments I worked in were sales and marketing, finance, inbound shipments and outbound shipments. Tasks included consolidating shipments, learning how to operate different software applications for each department, various administration tasks and responding to customer enquiries.
