I grew up on a farm out in rural Colorado. It is there that I learned the value of hard work, and taking pride in what you do. From there it was on to a handful of entry level jobs, until I got my foot in the door at Harbor Freight Tools, being promoted twice within 4 months of starting. It was there that I learned leadership skills, as well as how to interact with customers and fellow coworkers. After realizing that retail wasn't the world I was interested in, it was time to move on to Swingle/SavATree Lawn, Tree, and Landscape Care. Nothing but great experiences were to be had here. I learned how to work with harsh chemicals safely, as well as a plethora of equipment and people. I encountered a large number of problems in my time here, many were solvable alone, and some required help from a supervisor or coworker, this helped to evolve my problem solving and critical thinking skills.
