I'm an environmental scientist with a wide range of experience in environmental control and monitoring. As CEO of EnviroScience, I'm in charge of operations, business development, and acts as lead manager for the company’s lake management division. While with SAIC (now renamed Leidos), I directed and worked on a wide variety of projects involving solid and hazardous waste, underground storage tanks and water pollution. With the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, I worked in the Division of Water Pollution Control and gained considerable experience in the design and operation of water pollution control facilities. Environmental EngineerOhio Epa Oct 1981 - Sep 1989UsAt Ohio EPA, I was responsible for implementing the state's water pollution control programs and goals as they relate to approximately 150 industrial facilities in northeast Ohio. These facilities ranged from petroleum refineries to steel mills to nuclear power plants. I conducted inspections of these facilities and their pollution control equipment, wrote technical reports regarding these inspections, reviewed and evaluated detail plans for pollution control facilities, prepared NPDES wastewater discharge permits and provided expert testimony in court proceedings. While at Ohio EPA, I served as the District’s specialist for nuclear and coal-fired steam electric generating facilities. In addition to these primary duties, I was the state coordinator for numerous remediation projects involving groundwater contamination and hazardous material releases.
