Large companies use our machines to sort textile waste whilst NGOs and universities are using our machines to identify waste from the ocean and educate the public on the challenges in implementing the circular economy.Along the way we won multiple competitions, giving us the funds to start the company. I've led a small research team with a focus on developing ultraportable electrochemical analysis devices and sensors. We create a postage-stamp-sized potentiostat which we successfully integrated into a smartphone for ultra-portable sensing. I've started in Vestigen as an intern (aged 15) and quickly gained responsibilities as my skills evolved - after 3 years I was responsible for 3 other people and leading the instrument design. I have developed the electronics for a miniature spectrometer working in the visible range, for portable sensing and colour measurements. I've written the spectrum acquisition firmware for a Lattice FPGA chip in Verilog as well as co-wrote MicroPython scripts to drive the measurements.

As part of an internship (enabled by my high school teacher, Pavol Nemec) my classmate and I have designed a temperature microsensor. The extremely helplful staff at the Slovak Academy of Sciences manufactured a photomask using EBL using our designs and we then manufactured a number of the sensors with UV photolitography. We have characterised the sensor by measuring the resistance at various temperatures down to -197 C in liquid nitrogen and using scanning electron microscopy.
