These projects were a mix of CASE - Relational modeling and Object Relational Modeling with a CORBA implementation.Designed prototype Global Database models for all Bi initiatives from the OLTP transactional database systems. These went live in the production state in May 2002. Largest Data Warehouse was a rolling Object Relational Data store with approx. 17 Terabytes utilizing 9 clustered Solaris E4500 servers running Teradata. This was a rolling historical data repository. The smallest operational Data mart was Oracle 8i on 3 Solaris E4500 servers with approximately 7 gigs of operational data (Rolling 30 day repository)This system encompasses a security domain that works in a UNIX environment, as well as a PC environment (NT, 98 and 2000). Designed and developed an advanced security authentication mechanism via JSP to facilitate PORTAL (Extranet) access to Web Intelligence. This required a specialized database schema and system customization within TOMCAT (JAVA/JSP server) and the authentication mechanism within Web Intelligence. The "ACCOUNT MANAGER" was a custom interface that allowed designated contacts to manage user accounts within the PORTAL (Extranet) for Web Intelligence.Development of AD HOC Reports by utilizing a client application to create reports graphically by selecting the objects that are available in the Object Universe (Development allows point and click/drag and drop report creation). Object development has taken place within the Business Objects Environment utilizing DESIGNER.
