I absolutely love technology and have enjoyed immersing myself in a variety of solutions over the years. Add to that the wonderful opportunity to work from home for the past 20+ years, I have an established work habit, perform well, and deliver! Having worked my way up from consulting to support management and on to managing our internal IT department, I’m now responsible for all of our IT systems, services, and vendor relationships. We maintained a hardware stack in a data center in Scottsdale Arizona while I telecommuted from my home office in the Birmingham Alabama area. Managing our local IT services in Scottsdale, we maintained an on-premise Microsoft infrastructure, VMware virtual machines and all services related to backup, replication and maximizing service level for our users.Significant projects included migration of SharePoint 2010 to 2015 as well as replacing an outdated firewall to Dell SonicWall firewalls. Minimizing any real amount of system outage was a key factor to the success of these projects.
