As a Technical Coordinator for the New England Revolution Academy I operate as a Director of Coaching for Hopkinton Youth Soccer, one of the many partner clubs the Academy has. I oversee all soccer operations for the club from the Revolution Academy program to recreational programming. I am a Head Coach for both boys and girls Academy teams. I am also a lead coach for New England Revolution Academy programs including Regional Training Centers, Regional Development Schools, Residential Programs and Coach Education.

As Academy Coach I had a variety of on and off field roles with the Revolution Academy. I was a Lead Coach on Residential Academies, Regional Development School, Regional Training Centers and Skills Academy Programs. I wss Head Coach for multiple competitive teams, both boys and girls.I also led coach education sessions for partner clubs and their full, part time and volunteer coaches. In addition I led coach education sessions for Revolution Academy coaching staff. Off field I had a role in program and curriculum design, as well as the design and implementation of long term player pathways for development.

As Director of Coaching (DOC) for GPS Rhode Island I oversaw all programming for Global Premier Soccer (GPS) in the North of Rhode Island. This programming covers all ages and abilities from 3-19 years old and includes on field coaching and player development as well as mangement of off field relations, operations and finances. I was Head Coach for multiple Premier teams, both boys and girls aged 9-19.

As National Team Coordinator I oversaw the design, implementation and execution of the GPS and FC Bayern Munich National Team Program for Global Premier Soccer in North America. This program saw the identification, consolidation and coaching of the best players in the GPS family throughout the USA and had those players come together in a GPS FCB National Team to compete at the highest level events throughout the USA and the world, including the MIC Cup in Spain, Gothia Cup in Sweden and Milk Cup/Super Cup in Northern Ireland.

As a sport massage therapist, combined with other knowledge from Injury and Rehabilitation I have the skills to carry out a full client assessment, asymmetry and range of motion testing. I then have the ability to treat presenting issues with a wide range of massage techniques. I possess the skills to design rehabilitation programs and provide the client guidelines for recovery. I have also been a part time volunteer therapist for the Sussex Sharks County Cricket Club for match days and recovery, working with high calibre athletes such as England International’s Matt Prior, Luke Wright, Monty Panesar and Michael Yardy.

1. Sports Performance Coach 2. Soccer CoachI was a member of the Sports Performance Department at GPS with my main responsibility being Sport Psychology. I was also involved in fitness testing, hurdle and SAQ education, injury management, coach analysis and other aspects in soccer performance. I also had an on field role as Head Coach for 2 of the clubs teams (U12 and U16) and also involved in town clinics and coach education programs as well as early development programs. This covers ages ranging from 3-19.

East Sussex

1. House Master 2. Groups Co-ordinator 3. Sports CoachI assisted in the designing and implementation of programs for international students visiting Buckswood School. The visiting students take part in partially integrated programs at Buckswood for 1-3 weeks, experiencing the way of life and the education, as well as having excursions to the local town, London and other educational and tourist locations. As part of this role, I was also the house master in a boarding house for the international visitors. My final role was to teach games several times a week to Buckswood students (boarders and day students), ranging from 11-20 years of age, in a variety of sports; specialising in football.

From my degree I have a vast range of experience in Sport Psychology, Practical Coaching and Performance Analysis. I led a Consultancy Project with Tesco FA Coaching in the Dorset area, designing an educational DVD for new coaches to aid with the quality of their interventions in practical sessions. I also gained invaluable experience in the area of Sports Injury, as well as Sports Massage under the tutelage of a former England Rugby therapist. I also possess the skill set to plan, coach and evaluate thorough active sessions (either alone or as part of a team) for participant ages ranging from 6-Adult in several sports – specialising in football. As part of all these modules I had to work individually and as a part of teams or groups.

I worked for one academic year as part of the PE team at RAAS. My main roles included the creation, organisation and implementation of the 4-5pm activity program for all KS3 pupils. I also organised and distributed equipment for PE lessons, as well as kit for competitive fixtures. I assisted with, and led (both under supervision and independently) PE lessons for ages ranging from 11-16 years. I coached the Year 8 football team to a second place finish in the league and a second place finish in the SBSA national tournament in Birmingham.
