About Martin Vowles

I am a product owner and co-founder of M/A, a digital design studio specialising in creative direction, design, development, storytelling and production of websites, apps and installations. I have 20 years’ experience in product strategy, design and development as well as managing, mentoring and developing others. I excel at bridging the gap between design and development, understanding the needs and constraints both teams have.I have built products for a wide range of organisations across different sectors and industries, being able to identify missing links or opportunities and supporting clients on new journies into digital technologies. At M/A I’ve been fortunate enough to solve problems and create solutions for clients such as; Mind, Tommy’s, NSPCC, Active Minds, Southbank Centre, Visit Bankside, ODI and Money and Mental Health. I have a diverse background in digital & interactive design and typography. Before founding M/A & Plexus, I also lectured in Graphic Design and Experimental Typography at Goldsmiths University and at various colleges at the University of Art London, holding a Masters degree in Visual Communication from The Royal College of Art in London.
