During my time here, I revised the reporting procedures of daily KPI's ensuring the integration of daily reporting with live accounting information. Installed daily cash flow reporting and forecasting procedures. The result of which improved time management within the finance department, the accuracy of this information and the integrity of the data within the system, which in turn made tasks easier for other departments within the organisation.

Kacoo Fashion is a privately owned SME, importing and wholesaling ladies fashion. My role has been to assist the newly appointed Finance Director with the improvement of finance systems within the organization, preparation of month end management accounts, processing of payroll and preparation of audit files for several companies within the Group. Mentoring the finance team in their roles and teaching HR personnel Sage Payroll.Whilst working in this role, I was tasked with looking at the working procedures of the Merchandise Department, ensuring that personnel commenced using SAP B1 effectively and efficiently. This project involved reviewing their current procedures, collating information and developing new systems, by working with IT, to ensure that data was correctly entered into SAP to enable meaningful KPI's could be drawn from the system. As a result of implementing the system, working practices changed enabling personnel to work on and off the SAP system, resulting in greater efficiency, improved accuracy of data, ensuring completeness of data and ultimately reduced workloads.

Role involved building up knowledge of different accounting systems, verification of the accuracy of business records as a true reflection of the company’s position and once placed into liquidation that their records integrated into the department's own accounting systems
