Strategic portfolio management in New Product Development across all therapy areas in Novo Nordisk.- Delivering complex portfolio analysis and insights to Governance Boards, Executive Management and Board of Directors- Driving large cross-functional strategy projects within new product development- Orchestrating the Portfolio Summit with almost 200 high level decision makers and project managers (VP level and above)- Expanding and growing portfolio analysis capabilities in the team and throughout the R&D organisation- Building strategic networks with key stakeholders to facilitate decisions in line with strategic priorities

Managing the corporate portfolio of New Product Development projects, technology development and optimization projects. In the portfolio there are appr. 100 large end-to-end NPD projects involving R&D, Commercial, Legal, Regulatory, and product supply processes of the project. The projects are led by 15 Project Directors and structured in sub-portfolios in the commercial divisions. Key elements are strategic prioritization of projects and resources, strategic portfolio planning, BI for data analysis and reporting, financial forecasts of cost and value from new products, KPI definition and follow-up, and driving strategic decision making based on the project portfolio.

Leading the development and implementation of Novozymes integrated Portfolio & Project Management system - Zynergy - build on Microsoft technologies (Project Online, SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, Power BI) including re-designing the project management and business processes for product development.The system and processes involve 2.000 users and governance bodies related to New Product Development, R&D and Optimisation projects.The project team was about 30 employees and consultants, with more than 50 additional Zymers participating in workshops, process design and delivering user stories/requirements.It was a fast track fully agile project (SCRUM) and delivered on time and budget (+10 MDKK)

Managing the project portfolio of the CVP-area ‘Device Manufacturing & Sourcing’ (DMS) responsible for moulding of plastic component and assembly of prefilled pens for diabetes treatment (and other drugs in Novo Nordisk's portfolio) at local sites and at a network of suppliers. The project portfolio consists of 60-70 projects within tool and process development and implementation, materials, construction, IT, quality & compliance and business development. Thus I was involved in many parts of the value chain. The projects were managed by 12 full time project managers and a number of Line of Business project managers. My responsibilities involve:- Managing and balancing the project portfolio with regards to finance and resources- Enabling and facilitating the biannual prioritization of projects- Driving the portfolio master plan- Portfolio overviews and reporting- Collaboration on all levels of the organization and with other business units and portfolio managers- Developing project management and portfolio management processes- Ensuring a tight alignment between the portfolio and the business goals and strategy of NN and DMS
