Developing, leading and implementing the strategy of growing current and new community cricket channels in NSW.

Oversee game development in Southern NSW/ACT and lead a team of Cricket Managers, facilitating participation growth and increasing awareness.Work closely with the Game Development Leadership Group, develop operational plans for direct reports to achieve KPI’s in line with CNSW strategic objectives.* Manage recruitment and retention activities across multiple regions to substantially increase participation* Develop participation targets and objectives based upon data analysis with a strong focus on junior cricket and aligning to the Australian Cricket Strategy and CNSW objectives* Support Cricket Managers in developing and implementing strategies designed to engage their key stakeholders and assist in leveraging those stakeholder relationships.* Build and maintain a close and cohesive relationship with area Coach and Talent Specialist (CaTS) to ensure total alignment between HP’s strategic initiatives and the coach development and talent programs being implemented* Work with designated regions to ensure all infrastructure (policies, systems and procedures) is effectively implemented by clubs and associations.* Work with internal stakeholders to develop and implement a strategy that ensures field force staff are appropriately skilled to deliver on agreed objectives.* Support Cricket Managers in attracting, retaining and developing quality staff to undertake community cricket functions in the field.* Manage area costs that are directly controllable within agreed financial parameters.* Provide direction and leadership to staff to ensure they deliver area and region outcomes.* Be a conduit between field staff and the state engine room to ensure that clear messaging is being provided between both parties* Ensure compliance with sponsorship related contractual obligations.* Support the delivery of match day activities at Sydney Thunder games within the region.* Support opportunities for the promotion of the Sydney Thunder throughout the cricket community

Establish and optimize the business model for AFL Goulburn Murray Commission’s Region Administration Centre (RAC) including the responsibility for the day-to-day operational, commercial, financial and game development objectives. General: • Drive the region’s strategic and business plans including consultation with local stakeholders and AFL Victoria. • Develop and manage an annual budget process including the achievement of related commercial outcomes. • Develop, establish and maintain best practice management and operating policies. • Oversee the scheduling and delivery of a quality events calendar.• Serve as the primary spokesperson and representative of the Region Commission.Game Development: • Improve engagement, participation rates and strategic growth linked to the delivery of AFL Victoria’s 7 core development objectives. • Establish and capitalise on opportunities to grow participation, in particular, through Club based football, development programs or new initiatives. • Identify and research key issues impacting on community football. • Work with local stakeholders to identify the best structure for community football within the region. • Oversee and manage appropriate competition management policies and procedures. • Lead the strategic development of umpiring in the Region including initiatives to improve recruitment, training and retention. Commercial Management: • Proactively manage and grow all aspects of the AFL Goulburn Murray Commission’s business to achieve revenue growth, partnership development and drive increased exposure. • Explore new opportunities to improve capacity and expand reach through the media, social media, internet and broadcast platforms. • Develop and manage all partnerships with key stakeholders and related third parties. Financial Management: • Manage the financial aspects of the business including the annual budget process. • Establish and achieve agreed commercial revenue targets.
