Martin Maxwell's personal experience as a commercially licensed driver in both local and long-haul fueled a passion within him for the industry. He holds 20 years of commercial license experience which includes operating equipment such as single flat bed, A-Train and Super B-Train Flat Bed, Dry and Refrigerated vans in both single-trailer and doubles as well as heavy-haul of 105,500 lbs among the Rocky Mountains. His experience spans the US and Canada, including every State and Province and a mix of terrain from mountains, flats, and deserts in varying weather.After nearly a decade of driving, he transitioned into management where he began a successful climb to the executive levels of Vice President of Operations and then Zone General Manager. His passion led to managing hundreds of employees encompassing all facets of logistics including warehouse, transportation, fleet, facility, and inventory control across seven states and nine operating units with responsibility for managing operating budgets in excess of $16 million annually.His extensive experience leading organizations and developing leaders has revealed that whatever the business, people drive its success and intuitively want to be a part of something successful. Through his mentorship, leaders have been able to realize their strengths and translate them into exceptional performance through others.
