Ecodiversity is a newly established micro-enterprise working to support people, organisations and projects in pursuit of a sustainable and resilient future. We are passionate about the natural environment and believe that future generations should inherit a healthy, resilient, climate neutral and biodiverse world. We bring over 40 years of professional experience in the environmental research, impact and innovation sectors to our projects and partnerships.

A broad portfolio of responsibilities covering the evaluation, development and communication of the evidence base building around Zoan's novel platform and biomaterials; development of pipeline product concepts and pathways; scientific scrutiny of regulatory, quality and R&D submissions and outputs; r+d and commercial partnership building, acquisition of R&D funding; and R&D project direction and oversight.

Leading the development of Zoan’s portfolio of 3D printable coral-based materials and medical devices in partnership with industry incumbents and research centres in Ireland and globally.

Contracts across marine and related environmental sciences for clients including WWF_UK, Dutch Environment Ministry, Bantry Marine Research Station, AquaTT, CINEA, Cefas and Risk and Policy Analysts Ltd.

In recognition of my achievements in research, teaching and knowledge exchange I was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2018.

Ocean-atmosphere exchange of gases, marine and atmopsheric nitrogen cycling; Earth-system science and palaeoclimate. Field, laboratory and desk-based research. Also consulting on use of online tools, particularly social media applications for reserarch.

Throughout my 6 years as a faculty member in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia, my post was co-funded by Cefas, The UK civil service Marine Agency.
