In 2014 I co-founded an animation studio and film production company Krutart. I'm in charge of business development, producing films and art direction of animated commercials.My responsibility of a producer is to look for new talents and ideas. Then develop them and find their place on the film and audiovisual market. The rest is fun - production, postproduction and distribution. The first project I produced is a feature documentary film The Russian Job.As an art director my responsibility is to understand the client's need and propose the most effective and beautiful solution within the field of animation. I follow the whole process with illustrators and animators and I'm responsible for the business and artistic value of the result.

The Russian Job (2017) - A Feature Documentary Film by Petr HorkýIn 2014 I accepted a challenge to produce a feature documentary film. In three years of development and production we went through renown European workshops. In November 2017 we premiered at the most prestigious documentary festival IDFA, and went on dozens of festivals around the world - Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Europe, etc. In 2018 we won a national prize for the Czech documentary of the year.The film was supported by a Czech Film Fund, coproduced by the Czech television and sold to TVs in Sweden, Finland, Japan or Balkans.www.therussianjob.krutart.cz

In Krutart I directed both live action and animated commercials. The clients are: Generali, Česká pojišťovna, Vodafone, Helios or non profit organizations like the Center for the Integration of foreigners.

For OBRAZ we made in Krutart two strong animated campaigns. In 2017 we helped to ban farms which harvested furs from foxes. The 2018 campaign is building better conditions for chicken which are bred for eggs.

I shot four tv campaigns and helped the biggest lingerie e-shop in Czech to grow exponentiallly.

Kania Brothers, full-service advertising agency, invited me to direct a cinematic-style commercial for Phoenix Asrafieh, Hi-tech building that is being constructed in Lebanon. The other commercial I directed for Kania Brothers was also for cinematic as well as for digital platform. It was advertising a political party TOP 09 in very courageous style. We took the mythological creature of our land and put them in a LOTR style short story. It was a viral Facebook hit. You can see both in my Directing portfolio - www.martinjuza.cz

I worked as a camera assistant for the Czech television, movies shot by Jaroslav Brabec - Zasaženi bleskem and Post Bellum, DOP Tomáš Sysel. From 2010 to 2012 I worked as a video assistant on various film projects directed by Jan Hřebejk (Nevinnost, Kawasakiho růže), Alice Nellis (Perfect Days), Tomáš Řehořek (Signál).

I was chosen in a competition to design and shoot an autumn viral campaign for Tomas Bata University in Zlin. It was launched by only link on my facebook profile and led to a massive audience and media reaction - over 500 hundreds of views on Youtube, Stream and Vimeo in three days, all the main Czech and Slovak media were writing about this campaign. During my studies at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem I participated and accompanied with pictures Klara Sodomkova's articles about different cultures in the Middle East. Together we created photo reportage from Mount Gerizim, Palestine, where is a settlement of one of the smallest ethnic group - Samaritans. Other reportages mapped our experience with Jordanian bedouins and free spirit culture in Sinai district, Egypt. Those reportage were published in various Czech magazines - Koktejl, MF Plus, Travel digest.

Handjoy is a mobile marketing company which specializes in advergaming - creating mobile games for companies which want to promote their brands in original way. For Handjoy I was animating and editing short video teasers, clients were Orion, Grundfos and Hammerware.

With my concept I was picked to shoot a cinematic commercial for Tomas Bata University, the purpose was to attract tallented bright future students. After this commercial was shot, the University decided to use it as an official communication visual face and made stills from this spot into billboards, citylights, bags, beer pads, etc. Those visuals were richly used for almost four years till 2011.
