Peace Catalyst currently has 40 people scattered across 14 cities in the US, with additional staffin Bosnia, Indonesia, England, S. Korea, Jordan, Bolivia, Serbia, and Lithuania. I worked with theadministrative team to provide oversight, training, onboarding new staff, fostering community cohesion, and expanding our impact worldwide. This organization helps people and communities become effective peacebuilders by embracing the best practices of inclusive faith and social science. We seek to shift the narratives to help marginalized people belong and thrive. As Executive Director, I directed the daily operations. I revised organizational policies and practices that allowed us to grow from working in three countries to working in ten countries.

When Peace Catalyst's founder and President was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I was asked by the board of directors to lead the organization through the transition. Working with the board, we initiated a review of our ten-year history, which resulted in revising our mission and vision statements to align with our current societal challenges.

I built strong communityrelations, which facilitated effective project management, communications, and event planning forcollaborative projects between mosques, churches, international students, refugees, and state and local government. As Director of Strategic Partnerships, I built collaborative relationships with national and international organizations and government entities that shared our organizational objectives.

Recruited personnel and managed relief, development, and educational initiatives in Sudan, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Italy, Ghana, Tanzania, and Morocco.

Supervised four staff and 30-50 volunteers for this growing suburban church. Designed andimplemented religious educational programs. Performed religious ceremonies and counseled churchmembers as needed. While leading this church, we opened a new preschool, hosted a satellite campus of Portland Christian School, and completed a new building addition.

Maputo, Mozambique

Designed a holistic curriculum in Portuguese and opened a vocational training school to equipMozambican church leaders to meet the physical and spiritual needs of their congregants. I traveledto rural villages to organize relief and development projects. I hosted teams from the United Stateswho did building projects, educational programs, and cultural competency learning in Mozambique,Swaziland, and South Africa. I helped organize logistics for international relief efforts after cyclonesdevastated the country in 2000.

I developed and operated cemetery and funeral home properties. I created marketing and salesstrategies and computerized the accounting and property management databases. I designed andmanaged customer sales programs, resulting in $300,000 in annual sales. Managed the cemeteryperpetual care trust fund in compliance with Kentucky perpetual care laws. I scheduled cemeterymaintenance and supervised four cemetery personnel.

I was the Point of Sale (POS) system manager in a locally owned grocery store chain. I worked withthe owners of this six-store chain to monitor and implement a corporate retail pricing strategy for Drop Shipment Deliveries(DSD). I supervised POS functions to ensure accurate pricing across the six-store network and resolve POS issues. I worked with the warehouse and store management to monitor pricing and inventory.
