I help facilitate the Data Analytics track of the Global Career Accelerator. This is an entirely online course which focuses on Data Analysis through Excel and Tableau. During synchronous classes, this includes working with the instructor and another team lead, managing messages from students, and helping our 170+ students in groups and individually. Outside of class, I run drop-in hours with my fellow team lead and grade assignments.

I started at the Brookings MyPlace as the Night Auditor, and after a year I was promoted to Assistant General Manager (AGM). Early on as AGM, the GM took on covering night shifts and I took on the responsibility of managing the day. In this time, I gained extensive experience managing our 14 staff across 3 departments. This involved managing the Front Desk staff, directing Housekeepers, managing our c-store inventory, and helping resolve customer issues both on and off site. I worked as a Hired Judge for NSDA debate for Washington High School. As a hired judge, it was my responsibility to take my assignment and preside over the round. This includes communicating and enforcing the NSDA debate policy, communicating my preferences and expectations as a judge, keeping extensive noted on the arguments in the round, deciding the winning position, and providing feedback that both develops arguments as well as the students as debaters. I started as a Bagger at 16, was promoted to Checker, and was then promoted to Customer Service Representative.As a customer Service Representative, I took on skilled customer service work in returns, assisting checkers and front end managers, and postal services. When needed, I would also cover other departments across the store.I left this position to attend South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota.
