Martin is an experienced consulting services professional, with experience in financial services, government, utility, higher education and retail environments including enterprise architecture, process engineering, strategy, innovation, and management in line and project roles. Martin’s current responsibilities include advisory consulting primarily in matters relating to Strategy, Process, Operations and Enabling Technologies in financial services organizations.Prior to joining SystemicLogic Martin spent a number of years at Nedbank, a South African banking group counted amongst the top four banks in that country where he held numerous roles. Notable are the architecture and planning of the card processing shared platforms for Nedbank and Swisscard AECS (a subsidiary of Credit Suisse); pre-sales due diligence for another card business process outsource client – the Bank of Ireland.Prior to joining Nedbank, Martin was a development manager in the IT Group at Eskom (an electricity utility). Martin’s experience is complemented by his drive, determination and abilities to think laterally and synergistically, enabling him to communicate even complex subjects to all levels of management. He has presented at a number of international conferences on his interests and relevant projects.He enjoys leadership roles involving directing focused teams and enabling the teams to excel in achieving their objectives.
